The Premise
Amy Kowalski lost a year and a half of her life in a car crash on the East Beltline. Everybody she loves has been very nice about it.
Her husband Brian writes the day on a yellow sticky note every morning and leaves it on the coffee maker. He learned her physical therapy off YouTube. He bought a quiet house in Spring Lake while she was still in rehab, so she'd have somewhere to come home to.
Then the post office emails her a picture of a letter that's on its way. It's addressed to her, in her own handwriting. The handwriting she lost.
By lunch it's gone, and Brian says the mail was just bills.
Arriving Today runs in real time in the fall of 2026, in a small town on the Michigan lakeshore. The letters come on Thursdays.
The Volumes
There's a year and a half of my life I don't remember, and everybody I love has been very nice about it.
My husband writes the day on a yellow sticky note every morning and puts it on the coffee maker. He's done it every day since I came home from rehab.
On Thursday the post office emailed me a picture of a letter that was coming to my house. It was addressed to me, in my own handwriting. The big looping K I haven't been able to make since the crash.
The postmark said Grand Rapids. I hadn't been there since July.
Arriving Today is a domestic suspense serial about a woman whose own letters are trying to tell her something her family won't.
